With support through the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program the Winchester Curling Club was able install a “setback system” in order to save money on our yearly operating expenses. Without the help from the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure program this would not have been possible and we wish to express our sincerest thanks. Avec l’appui du Programme d’infrastructure communautaire de Canada 150 le club de curling Winchester a été en mesure d’installer un «système de setback» afin d’économiser de l’argent sur nos dépenses de fonctionnement annuelles. Sans l’aide du programme Infrastructures communautaires du Canada 150, cela n’aurait pas été possible et nous tenons à exprimer nos plus sincères remerciements.

There were 9 teams that participated in the WCC Nine and Dine fun night on June 17. The winning team was……Kenny Mills, Courtney Barkley, Christine and Terry Barkley.
Men’s longest drive was won by Marty Little while the women’s longest drive was won by Leann Chamberlain.
Successful Double Your Money golfers were Marty Little, Greg Chamberlain, Terry Barkley and Courtney Barkley.
Trivia designed by Marc LeBlanc was won by Greg and Leann Chamberlain and Josh and Melissa Cooper.
Great dinner provided by Jason McKercher, Diane Spurr, and Judy Somerville.

It looks like Spring is finally here and the golf course is calling our name…so it seems like a good time to gather all our friends and family and hit the greens!

When? Friday, June 17th, Tee Times starting at 3:00pm
What? Nine hole 4-person best ball followed by dinner
Where? Golf – Cedar Glen Golf Course, Williamsburg
Dinner – Winchester Curling Club
Cost? $35/person – Power carts will be available for an additional $5/person
